It's a narrative nonfiction account of the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens’ improbable 131-game winning streak in the 1950s, based on nearly five years of extensive player interviews and archival research. The Hall of Fame players featured were among the first women to represent the United States in international competition, including in the 1957 FIBA World Championship gold medal match against the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War.
